1. General information, not individual advice
This website provides general information about Lenkoe Attorneys Incorporated and its areas of work. It is not a legal opinion, comprehensive statement of South African law or substitute for advice based on your facts and documents. The relevance of a legal principle depends on jurisdiction, dates, evidence, procedure and the particular circumstances.
References to litigation, labour, family, criminal, commercial, property, mining, environmental or other legal services describe the firm’s stated practice areas. They do not establish that a particular service is available immediately or that the firm has accepted your matter. Do not take action or refrain from action solely on the basis of a short website description.
2. No automatic attorney-client relationship
Browsing the website, completing a form, sending email or WhatsApp messages, or using the AI assistant does not by itself establish an attorney-client relationship. The firm must accept the instruction through an appropriate engagement process, which may include checking conflicts, verifying identity and agreeing the scope and terms of work.
An enquiry acknowledgement is not acceptance of a legal mandate. An initial conversation does not automatically authorise the firm to file proceedings, negotiate, receive service, make admissions or act against another party. Ask a practitioner to confirm in writing what the firm has agreed to do and the deadlines it has undertaken to manage.
3. Urgency, prescription and procedural deadlines
Legal rights may be affected by prescription, limitation periods, contractual notice requirements, court rules and other time-sensitive procedures. Some deadlines are short and cannot readily be extended. An enquiry through this website does not suspend or interrupt a deadline and is not service of a legal document on another person.
If a matter is urgent, contact the firm by telephone and clearly identify the deadline. Do not assume a message has been read or a document accepted simply because it was sent. Unless the firm has expressly accepted responsibility, obtain timely assistance from an appropriately qualified practitioner and do not rely on this website to preserve your rights.
The website and AI assistant are not emergency-response services. If there is an immediate threat to safety, use the appropriate public emergency service rather than waiting for a website enquiry response.
4. Automated assistant limitations
The AI assistant is an automated service, not a lawyer, staff member or professional adviser. Responses may contain errors, incomplete explanations, invented citations or outdated information. The assistant cannot verify evidence, assess all conflicts, exercise professional judgment on your behalf or give binding instructions for legal proceedings.
An AI answer does not bind the firm, guarantee a quoted fee or confirm a booking. Statements about laws, cases, outcomes or procedures must be checked with a qualified practitioner and reliable current sources. The assistant’s confident wording is not evidence of accuracy.
Conversation history is saved locally in the browser, but messages are transmitted to external processing infrastructure to generate responses. Do not provide confidential instructions, privileged evidence, identification documents, health records, financial account details or children’s information through the assistant. Review the privacy policy before using it.
5. Confidentiality and privilege
The firm’s professional confidentiality duties and legal professional privilege are distinct concepts. Whether privilege attaches depends on the nature, purpose and circumstances of a communication and applicable law. A public website form or automated conversation is not represented as a privileged consultation.
Please use only a brief description in a first enquiry. Ask the firm whether it can accept the matter and which channel is suitable for confidential documents. Avoid unnecessary disclosure of another person’s personal information. Marking a message “confidential” does not itself establish a mandate, privilege or a duty to act.
These limits do not remove duties that actually arise under law or an accepted engagement. Information received must still be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and professional requirements.
6. Appointments and fees
A submitted consultation preference is not a confirmed booking. The firm must confirm availability, time, format and any fees directly. Website acknowledgements do not guarantee acceptance, a response within a particular time or attendance at a preferred office.
Do not treat the website as a verified source of banking details. Confirm payment instructions using a trusted contact method, particularly if a message claims the firm’s bank account has changed.
7. No outcome guarantees or misleading comparisons
Litigation and other legal matters involve uncertainty. Results depend on the facts, evidence, applicable law, conduct of parties, independent decision-makers and other circumstances. No successful outcome, compensation amount, settlement, regulatory approval or completion date is guaranteed by this website.
The slogan “Where Justice Prevails” expresses the firm’s identity and aspiration; it is not a warranty of a result. Descriptions such as client-focused, boutique or multidisciplinary do not override the specific scope of an engagement or establish an accreditation not separately verified.
A photograph depicting legal work is not proof that every person shown is employed by the firm or that an event took place in a firm office. The director section uses the supplied portrait of the actual Managing Director. General legal-work photographs should not be treated as client testimonials or representations of actual client matters.
8. Information currency and external sources
The firm may update public content, but the website does not promise that every page reflects every recent legal development or regulatory change. Information can be affected by new legislation, judgments, directives or administrative practice after publication. Verify material propositions before relying on them.
External links, including directions, WhatsApp and regulator websites, are provided for convenience. Independent providers control their own content and services. A link does not guarantee that linked material is accurate, current, safe or suitable for your circumstances. Review the applicable provider’s terms and privacy notice.
9. Technical availability and safe communications
Web hosting, forms, email, authentication and third-party services can experience outages, delays or errors. A browser success message is not a professional undertaking to act. Keep copies of important correspondence and obtain direct confirmation when the delivery or acceptance of a document matters.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use care with shared devices, saved conversation history and unsolicited messages. Do not disclose passwords or administrator credentials. If you suspect that a message or payment request is fraudulent, verify it independently using a known firm contact.
The website is not an electronic address designated for service of all legal process. A party must comply with the applicable rules and any validly agreed service arrangements. Publishing an office or email address does not waive formal service requirements.
10. Statutory rights and professional responsibility
This disclaimer is subject to applicable South African law. Nothing in it excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or an obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not waive rights under POPIA, PAIA or applicable consumer legislation, nor prevent a complaint to a competent regulator or professional body.
Once the firm accepts a mandate, its duties are determined by applicable law, professional rules and the engagement. General website limitations cannot be used to remove those duties. Any limitation must be assessed for lawfulness and fairness in its actual context; this notice is not a blanket indemnity.
For professional-regulation information, consult the Legal Practice Council’s official website at https://lpc.org.za. Supporting registration and professional documents can be requested directly from the firm. No unverified registration number, B-BBEE level or compliance certification is asserted here.
11. Questions and notice version
For clarification about website information or an initial enquiry, contact info@lenkoeattorneys.co.za or 010 012 3361. Rustenburg enquiries may be directed to 067 916 6090. WhatsApp is available on 067 916 6090 as an optional contact channel. Ask expressly whether the firm is able to accept your matter before treating a communication as an instruction.
Read this disclaimer with the website terms, privacy policy and POPIA notice. This version is dated 8 October 2026. It is a website notice rather than an independently audited compliance opinion and must be kept aligned with the firm’s actual procedures and applicable law.
