1. Purpose and scope
These terms govern the use of the Lenkoe Attorneys Incorporated public website and its enquiry facilities. They distinguish general website use from a formal instruction to the firm. They do not replace an engagement letter, costs agreement, professional duties or any statutory rights you have. The firm is a boutique law practice serving Gauteng and the North-West, with offices in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Rustenburg.
By using the website you are asked to respect these conditions. A request submitted through a form remains subject to the firm’s review and acceptance. These website terms do not create a purchase, subscription, legal mandate or duty to act on your behalf merely because you browse, send an enquiry or speak to the AI assistant.
2. Identity and contact details
The website identifies the practice as Lenkoe Attorneys Incorporated, established in 2019 and incorporated in August 2026. Its founder and Managing Director is Olebogeng Perseverance Lenkoe, Attorney, LLB. General contact details are info@lenkoeattorneys.co.za and 010 012 3361; the WhatsApp contact is 067 916 6090.
The Johannesburg office is at 35 Fricker Road, Ethos Building, Illovo, Sandton, 2196. The Pretoria office is at 570 Fehrsen Street, Brooklyn Bridge Office Park, Pretoria, 0011. The Rustenburg office is at 214 Beyers Naude Drive, Ground Floor, Rustenburg, 0299, and can be reached on 067 916 6090. General office contact information is not a contractual designation of an address for service of legal process.
Professional registration information and supporting documents may be requested directly from the firm. The website does not publish an unverified corporate registration number, practitioner number or designated service address. Where an electronic transaction requiring additional statutory disclosures is proposed, the required information must be supplied before that transaction is concluded.
3. Consultation requests
Selecting a date, time or format and submitting the consultation form is a request only. Availability is not guaranteed. A consultation becomes confirmed only when the firm communicates confirmation of the arrangements. Do not assume an automated submission acknowledgement confirms a time or creates an obligation to attend court, lodge documents or protect a deadline.
Fees, the scope of the consultation, cancellation arrangements and any advance payment must be confirmed directly. No website-wide consultation price, cancellation penalty or deposit is implied by these terms. If you cannot attend a confirmed appointment, contact the firm promptly to discuss the arrangements that apply to your booking.
If a matter is urgent, telephone the firm and explain the relevant deadline. A website request, email or WhatsApp message may not be seen immediately. Until a practitioner has expressly accepted responsibility, you remain responsible for obtaining timely advice and taking necessary steps to protect your position.
4. Acceptance of legal instructions
An attorney-client relationship requires acceptance of an instruction by the firm through an appropriate engagement process. The firm may need to complete conflict checks, verify identity, understand the facts and agree scope and fees. It may decline an instruction where professional rules, conflicts, capacity or other lawful considerations require or justify doing so.
The submission of documents or a detailed narrative does not itself compel the firm to act or disqualify it from every other matter. Do not send sensitive information about another person unnecessarily. Ask the firm how to communicate confidential documents and whether it is able to receive instructions before sharing a substantial file.
Any authority to settle a dispute, make admissions, accept service, receive funds or instruct another professional must be established in the engagement context. Website availability and general contact details do not create such authority.
5. Accuracy, advice and automated content
General information on the website may simplify complex legal questions and may change as legislation, case law and procedure develop. It is not a legal opinion about your circumstances. A description of a practice area does not guarantee an outcome, availability, a specific specialist accreditation or acceptance of any particular matter.
The AI assistant generates automated responses and can produce inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date information, including incorrect citations. It is not a legal practitioner and cannot accept instructions, give binding fee quotations, clear conflicts or confirm appointments. Check important statements with an appropriately qualified practitioner before relying on them.
You should not use website content or an AI response as the sole basis for a court filing, business transaction, settlement, employment decision or other action affecting legal rights. Our disclaimer explains further limits, without excluding duties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully and with respect for other people. Do not impersonate another person, submit fraudulent requests, send malicious code, attempt to bypass authentication, access another visitor’s enquiry, interfere with service availability or use the forms to distribute unsolicited advertising.
Do not attempt to extract private data, misuse administrator credentials or direct the AI assistant to reveal confidential information or defeat safeguards. Automated access must not create an unreasonable burden or violate applicable rights. Technical restrictions may be applied to protect the service; they do not confer permission to access restricted information.
Where you provide another person’s contact details or information, ensure that you have an appropriate lawful basis to do so. You remain responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information you submit, without diminishing the firm’s own obligations as a responsible party.
7. Intellectual property
Website text, branding, layout and photographs may be protected by copyright, trade marks or other rights belonging to the firm or relevant licensors. You may view the website and make reasonable personal reference copies consistent with applicable law. Publication, commercial reproduction, misleading reuse of the firm’s identity or removal of ownership notices requires appropriate permission unless a legal exception applies.
Providing information through an enquiry form permits it to be handled for the relevant enquiry and lawful related purposes; it is not a general transfer of ownership of your documents. Nothing in these terms grants the firm unrestricted rights to publish your confidential material or use it for unrelated advertising.
8. External links and communications
Links to maps, WhatsApp, regulators or other services lead to independent platforms. Their availability, content, security practices and terms are outside the firm’s direct control. A link is not a guarantee of the accuracy of all material on that platform or an endorsement of all services it offers.
Email, WhatsApp and online forms can be affected by delays, filtering, delivery failures and compromise. If confirmation is important, obtain it directly from the firm. Verify payment instructions through a previously trusted contact channel and do not rely solely on a message announcing changed banking details. No payment facility or verified banking details are supplied by these website terms.
9. Privacy and confidentiality
Personal information is addressed in the privacy policy and POPIA notice. Website use does not waive rights under POPIA or authorise disclosure contrary to applicable professional duties. General enquiry channels should not be assumed suitable for highly sensitive information without further arrangements.
Legal professional privilege is determined by law and the circumstances of a communication, not by labelling every website interaction confidential. An automated conversation is not a privileged consultation with an attorney. Once an engagement exists, confidentiality and information handling must be assessed under the applicable mandate, law and professional requirements.
10. Availability and responsibility
The website may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, outages or circumstances affecting third-party services. No uninterrupted-service guarantee is made. Keep your own copies of important records and do not use this website as the only place to retain instructions or monitor a deadline.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the firm is not responsible merely because general website information does not meet your individual needs or a third-party service is unavailable. This is not a blanket exclusion of liability. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or any obligation or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, nor does it displace responsibility arising under an accepted professional mandate.
11. Law, concerns and changes
These website terms are interpreted under South African law, subject to any mandatory law that applies. No provision forces you to waive statutory consumer, privacy or professional-complaint rights or imposes exclusive private arbitration. If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, it should be interpreted or limited only so far as the law permits without invalidating unrelated provisions.
Raise website concerns with info@lenkoeattorneys.co.za or 010 012 3361. You may also use the relevant regulator or lawful dispute-resolution process. Changes to website terms apply prospectively; they do not automatically change an existing engagement agreement or retrospectively remove accrued rights. This version is dated 8 October 2026.
